Tai Chi

In simple terms, Tai Chi

  • Calms the busy mind
  • Relaxes the body
  • De-stresses you
  • Helps you to ground and center yourself
  • Reduces depression
  • Reduces blood pressure
  • Improves mood states and reduces anxiety

Tai Chi combines the richness of gentle, graceful movements with the calming effect of internal meditative practice. It is often described as ‘meditation in motion’.

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese practice that employs a slow graceful series of relaxed, natural postures. All Tai Chi movements are practiced in a continuous sequence as the body moves in coordinated unison.

It is a simple technique that everyone can use to calm themselves, to centre themselves, to become present to each living moment.
